My husband and I have struggled with infertility for 6 1/2 years.  Finally doing IVF with Donor eggs.  They retrieved 23 eggs and 19 fertilized (icsi) and were frozen.  We were unable to do fresh transfer, do to my utuerus not being thick enough.  Finally did IVF with FET on July 1st, 2009.  They transfered 3 embryos on day 3.  The Dr. said 2 of the eggs were "wonderful" and "perfect" for pregnancy.  He said the 3 one was "lagging" a little.   Have had "cramping" since day 2.  Not the same as w/periods, but more like maybe my utuerus thickining???  Have lower abdominal cramping on day 6AT.  Feeling nothing now.  He told me to do a BPT on day 15.  How soon can I do a HPT?  I'm just nervous, and don't know what to expect.  Thanks for ANY words of encouragement or advise!!!

I did my hcg on July 15th, and it came back 112.  The fertility clinic is not having me do another blood test before my ultrasound on the 30th. (some people say that's weird?)
I am hoping for 2 or 1... anymore than that, I might go Crazy! lol!!!  No, I will be greatful for whatever God blesses me with... I am just praying for a healthy pregnancy.  I will keep you posted on the progression.  Thanks for all of the support!   Baby dust to all of you!

I think you can do a HPT about 10 days after transfer since you did a day 3 transfer. I am wishing you lots of luck and sending you tons of sticky baby dust!!

I forgot to mention Do NOT Take a HPT, apparently with IVF your hormones show up later than with a natural pregnancy, you will only second guess a negative result. Just wait for you blood test. Good luck again...

I just had IVF with my own eggs, I got the bad news monday that none of the five took. I also had cramping, major thirst, headaches, etc.apparently my period was trying to come but still hasn't. My advice to you after going through the horrible tourtuous 2ww, Ignore everything you feel. All of your feelings could go either way, because of the hormones you are taking you cannot really know if you have pregnancy symptoms because you are pregnant or because of the hormones. I am 41 will be 42 in sept. I have been thinking I will do donor eggs as well in a couple of years, I hope the symptoms you have are BFP!! Do your very best to not think about what you are feeling it makes you crazy!!!! Baby dust to you!!!
