when are you fertile after a miscarriage

Ive just been told my baby stopped growing at 5.5 weeks and i was in my 9th week i have been bleeding for couple days, told to go back a week later and if its not all passed i will have a D& C.  Im really keen to start trying straight away as i dont have the luxury of my hubby being at home all the time as he works away so much, he will be home in just over 3 weeks Some people say you are fertile 2.5 weeks after having a miscarriage is that from first day of bleeding or when you finish bleeding?

Im so sorry hun for your loss and being further in your pregnancy life can be so cruel sometimes I find it hard to understand why?  I feel your pain when looking at other women, thats all i see at the moment and I get so emotional.  Its really hard.  Dont be hard on yourself about the depo shot you were suffering at the time.  Just remain in hope that your body is getting back to normal which it sounds like it is and Im sure it will happen for you soon enough.  I hope we will  all be sharing happy baby stories soon..  We have to stay positive xx

Yes hun i hope you you are right, Im still bleeding heavily now so I just pray that all the timing works out again for us.  Im sorry your boyfriend is not ready, but he will come round in time Im  sure.  Everything will work out for the best.  You both have to be ready in order to make it work.  Keep me posted though hey? x

I am so sorry for you loss I was 16 weeks and 1 day when I lost my son Noah (found out what he was the day after the D&C) Its hard for my still Its been 4 months and I cry at weird times I get upset when I see pregnant woman Its hard I know I made the biggest mistake and that was taking the depo shot after I lost him I was not thinking at the time and was hurting So I am not waiting because I am just getting over a chemical pregnancy which hurts too An they put me on provera to start my period but nothing An I have been on it for since Thursday So Now We are doing the wait and see game  Imt9930139 I am Sorry about your loss too May god be with both of you in this difficult time

I say no matter how long u bleed it will happen so maybe bleeding for another week then by the time he comes youll be ready.... Buy a opk. I want a baby but my bf decided hes not readyy.

Thanks for your comment.  Im very sorry and sad for your losses too :-(  I never thought it would hit me hard like this i feel very depressed and alone and eveywhere i look its babies babies babies....I appreciate your advice, I know i should wait at least one cycle and probably will have to as hubby is working away. He will be home in 3 weeks That has answered a question of mine too i wondered how long I will bleed for its nearly a week already but first couple days were really light? Hopefelly i will bleed for 3 weeks then when hubby comes home it will happen for us we have waited for so long :-( Suppose it just depends on my body hey? Thanks and god bless too xx

Im sorry to hear your going thur this I suffered my thord miscarriage in june. In 08 I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and my second was the same thing stop growing and cont the pregnancy for 2 weeks and miscarried with contractions the day I woulda be 3 months. I honestly can say wait it out specially after a d&c atleast a period after.... Then use a opk at cd11-21... Then try for the sake of you body... Or us aopk right when u stop bleeding cause yes u will ovulate right after... I miscarried the first bleed for 6 weeks straight then two days after I stop I had sex and BAM 4 weeks later I found out I was pregnant .... Good luck and god bless ...

being more specific now...I started to lightly bleed on Wednesday night, knew in my hear it was a miscarriage.  Friday I had the ultra sound told I had lost the baby approaching my 9th week I was told baby died at 5.5 weeks? My bleeding got heavier Friday and over the weekend.  Today is sunday and I have just passed what looks like the sac.  Its been very traumatic and I cant stop crying, my husband is away and not back for 3 weeks but all I can think about is trying again, Its taken us years to get to this stage , Im 33 we are both childless.  I want to know how soon girls have fallen pregnant after a mis carriage.  Girls have said they have fallen couple weeks after is that from first day of bleeding or when they finish.  Im still bleeding quite heavily now but the pain has eased :-( Such a roller coaster of emotions appreciate any comments as im really suffering xxxxxxxx
