Elevated ANA and Fibromyalgia?

ANA, anybody have elevated ANA results with you fibromyalgia dx?  I went back to the doc today.  It seems that things are not all in my head...lol   I was told I possibly had Lupus about 3 years ago, then told the 2nd test was negative.  Well, after going several rounds with a rather nasty doctor today, I talked him into looking up that 3 yr old test....turns out he didn't have to go back that far!  Last time I was hospitalized, last year, it was right there again.  Posiitive ANA!    That's 3 years of an elevated ANA.  I looked it up in the health pages and one of the conditions was Myositis, looked it up and it was Fibro...so I'm wondering, you guys have elevated ANA with yours?....is it in fact in my head, all these symptoms, just also a part of the Fibro, or could it possibly be something else too.

I get tested for the ANA and sometimes its up and sometimes down,I also have a negitive lupus and sometimes positive. My doc says its all connected, but still dont have any real answers so i have declined on the blood tests for now as theres always something out of balance yet no answers, and the old wait and see deal.So unless i am feeling unusally unwell(apart from the aches and pains) I just dont bother now.I dont hook in like i used to,I just make the most of my good days and hope that they last.

It's not all in your head ! ; ^ )   Approximately 29% of fibromyalgia patients and 25% of CFS patients have a positive ANA and some autoimmunity problems.
