Montel Williams' Life with Multiple Sclerosis

Did anyone here catch Montel Williams on Oprah ? Apparently he talked about what it is really like to have an invisible disease and how difficult it can be. But he and other guests also spoke of what valuable lessons they have learned as a result of their diagnosis.

Anyway.. here's the link below if you are interested. I was happy to see Montel Williams come forward and speak for everyone who struggles with a chronic illness... especially when we "look good". (he cleared that one up... LOL!)

I watched most of that program. I think he did a terrific job in describing his pain (some of it so similar to FMS).  I really admire his positive attitude and his determination to keep exercising. I have been unable to exercise lately because my pain level is so high, but hope I'll be able to return to it soon, even if it's only to take a walk with my hubby.  People like him who are so public about their struggles are so helpful in helping others understand us more...

I missed it as I seldom watch Oprah, but i'll read the article.  I heard years back that he had MS and i'm so glad he speaks out about it and what it's like living with a chronic illness.  Thank you for the link PlateletGal.
