Need some support

I am 40 years old and I have lyme disease, fibro, cfs, ebv, waiting on ana results, severe sinusitis, a prolapsed bladder and rectum, severe intersticial cystitis, and I have lost over 50% of my hair. I can no longer work, and can hardly get around anymore. I was not sure what forum to post this under? I had to move in with my mother a few months ago because I can no longer cook, do laundry etc. and I can barely walk my pain is so bad. My mom has been a huge help but she is always talking bad about me and I think it is making me sicker. We had family here for Thanksgiving and all she did was talk bad about me and that she never thought her life would turn out so terrible. My siblings never talk to me anymore because they think I am faking all of this and using my mother. I cannot even drive my car anymore and she is selling it. I have my own room and all I do is stay in there because everytime I ask a question she is really mean to me. Whenever she talks to anyone else she is sweet as pie? I have become very quiet and she makes so many rude comments to me it has become unbearable. I really need to vent and try to figure out what to do with myself. I have no health insurance either. Whoever is reading this, thanks for taking the time. The only person I "talk" to is my mom and I really need some support. Thanks.....
Jennifer

Is your lyme disease being treated because the other things.. CFS/FMS are caused by lyme.  EBV reactivates as a result of the immunosupression cause by lyme.  You might be able to get your life back if the lyme can be treated.

It is highly recommended that anyone considering adding supplements to their routine, to first speak with your physician about it.  Some supplements can have adverse effects when mixed with others and also when mixed with prescription drugs.

I'm so sorry to hear you are suffering like this.  It does not help that you can't get support from your loved ones, because you need them right now.  Have you spoken with your mother and told her how she is making you feel?  Maybe that would be the first step.  In order for your loved ones to understand what you are coping with, you could include them at your doctor visits where they could ask questions and hear about your condition(s).  Your mother, in particular, would benefit from something like this.  If not, perhaps some family counseling would help her to understand your issues and needs, and also uncover why she talks about you this way this way.  You didn't ask to be sick and no one would wish any of these on another individual.

I wish there was more I could do to help you.  It is bad enough that we must contend with those in medicine who don't believe us, much less our own relatives.  Please know that you are not alone with this.  There are so many wonderful people here and maybe someone else who has been through this type of situation can assist you with their advice and outcome.  I'll keep you in my prayers tonight.
