This sounds more like arthritis than fibro. You didn't mention having trigger points. In any case you need to tell your dr all of your symptoms, so that is can be more informed. If you withhold stuff, he won't get the right picture of your problems. Good luck with a diagnosis. Pleas share what you find out Friday.
my mum has fibrocytis, dont know if thats the same thing.
can it affect your vision? only im partially sighted and ive noticed my vision is worse over past few months, like my eyes are too tired to look
I have Fibromyalsia and so does my Mom, and so did my Grandmother. Do you have other family members who complain about the same things? All my joints hurt, especially whem I'm stressed or standing for long periods of time. I am also going thru menopause so that's a double whammy. I take Cymbalta in the mornings and sometimes Tylenol PM at bed time. My mother has it really bad sometimes she can't be touched. But for me warm baths and massages do wonders. It is worse when the weather changes. cold, very hot, or before it rains. Good Luck! I didn't want to take antidepresants but it became so painful I had to do something. If anything at least I can deal with this Fibromyalsia with a better attitude.
forgot to add i also have aching/painful knees and elboes
