shortness of breath

I woke up this morning with a killer headache and shortness of breath.  It lasted for about and hour.  Even though I slept for 8 hours I woke up exhausted and shakey!  I could bearly move.  I have done a sleep study that showed only mild apnea so don't think it is that. It has happened before.

I have a cold so wonder if it is related.

Anybody else with this?

Thanks

You may want to register for this as they will be discussing apnea too.  You can ask a specific question to be covered if you like.  It may help you in some way.

Take care and hope you feel better soon.

IT DOES SOUND LIKE SLEEEP APNEA ... I WAS GOING TO ASK U THAT TILL I READ THE REST OF WHAT U WERE SAYING .  BUT I HAVE SLEEP APNEA AND IF I DONT WEAR MY OXYGEN AT NIGHT I WILL WAKE UP LIKE THAT SOMETIMES AND THINK ITS WHERE YOUR NOT GETTING ENOUGH O2 TO THE BRAIN AND YOUR LUNGS.... IM NOT A DOCTOR SO IM NOT SURE BUT I WOULD DEFINETELY ASK YOUR DOCTOR.   AND IF U DONT HAVE OXYGEN ... SOUNDS LIKE U NEED IT.
ALSO .. COULD IT BE ASTHMA?  IVE WOKE UP LIKE THAT BEFORE HAVING THE SLEEP APNEA WHEN I WAS ALOT YOUNGER AND MY HEAD WOULD HURT AND I WOULDNT BE ABLE TO BREATH AND FELT LIKE I COULDNT GET ENOUGH AIR AND WOULD GET IN FRONT OF A FAN THAT SEEMED TO HELP SOME.. GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE U FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS .. I KNOW IT CAN BE SCARY WHEN IT COMES TO NOT BEING ABLE TOBREATH.  IVE HAD PULM. EMB. AND COULDNT BREATH AND THAT WAS PRETTY SCARY TO.

Did you post this question in the respitory forum?

Don't think this is related to fibromyalgia.
