charcot foot

Hello, I have severe pes planus from charcot foot in both feet. I am adding a link to an illustration that best resembles my feet, it is the one on the left. they are pronated and FLAT. If anyone else has this problem, or could tell me if they know of someone with these feet, I'd like to know how they manage, if there are shoes, or other orthotics that would help. I promise you there is no virus,,,just a pic. Thank you

Dr, these are actual pictures of my left foot, the right one is slightly worse. Do you think that custom made shoes and good inserts would do the trick? My dr told me I could walk for a long time with shoes and a walker. I have had the same custom made shoes now for four years. Your thoughts? Possible prognosis?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
charcot foot usually occurs from having diabetes or severe peripheral neuropathy.
a custom made "Crow's Boot" can greatly provide support and allow you to put more weight on the foot.  (your doctor will have to refer you to a pedorthist to cast you for the boot) if the condition worsens, you can have your foot surgically corrected.  by using external fixation rings, you can reposition and fuse the joints so they are no longer collapsed.
