GERD surgery & Pregnancy?
I am wondering what is the recommended time to wait after Laproscopic Nissen Fundolpication to try to get pregnant? What are teh possible complications related to pregnancy and this surgery? Thanks!
I had a Nissen 25 years ago. I know it is intact, but the reflux is pretty bad again. Now I am pregnante and it just keeps getting worse..Any suggestions?

There is no specific time duration that is suggested when to get pregnant following Nissen fundoplication..
Once you recover from the Nissen surgery you can get pregnant.
It is only during the last few weeks or pregnancy the acid reflux can worsen and if Nissen is done properly this will not occur.
