Gerd / Gastritis

Whats the difference when you get nauseous like bubbles in stomach that move upwards and the feeling like you are in a ship that moves side to side? Also does everyone with gastritis / gerd get anemia?

Hello, always remember to discuss these questions with your treating physician.  Nausea is going to feel the same but in this case, the origin is different. Motion sickness nausea is caused by disturbance in the inner ear. Any repeated motion or movement of the inner ear can cause this such as riding in a vehicle, a boat or amusement park ride.  https://www.medicinenet.com/motion_sickness_sea_sickness_car_sickness/article.htm

Acid reflux occurs when the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), a ring of muscle that separates your esophagus and your stomach, is unable to close tightly after you’ve ingested food or fluids. An LES that doesn’t function properly allows stomach acids and food particles to flow back up your esophagus to your throat. Acid builds up and leads to the sensation of nausea for some among other things.  https://www.webmd.com/heartburn-gerd/guide/understanding-gerd-symptoms
