No more nexium...what do I do now?

Hi!  I have been having chronic fatigue for years and finally after a million doctors could not really pin point it's cause, I went to a naturalpathic doctor who looked at blood work.  The "normal" numbers were not actually normal in her opinion and said I was mineral deficient and had adrenal burnout.  Cortisol was also not being produced.  My kidney was not functioning properly and processing nutrients.  She told me it's because of the nexium I had been on for at least 10 years or more due to horrible heartburn and GERD.  She told me to wean off of which I did.  But I still have horrible heart burn.  Does anyone have any information on this?  When will this go away?  Will my body naturally stop the heartburn?  Any ideas on how to cure this?

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

The past 10 yrs you have been on these meds for the heartburn, have you had regular blood labs done? Was a Dr following you?

Have you had testing to find out why you have the heartburn?

Did you modify your diet and lifestyle?
