Hi there,

I was told by my GI doc that ENT symptoms (laryngeal reflux is one of them) is caused by uncontrolled GERD.

In my experience the weightloss is due to a decreased appetite due to the horrible taste and feeling the acid reflux cause.

Are you taking any PPI's or other medication for GERD?  have you had an Endoscopy done before?

Hi...when we do not feel well we do not eat normally....have u seen a change in ur eating habits?...if not, then u should talk to ur Dr about the weight loss.....

There are foods u should avoid to help lessen the affects of the acid reflux regardless of the type u have....

Do see the Health Pages for tips on this type of reflux and what u can do to help the meds help u feel better.
