Can GERD cause your throat to itch and sometimes i feel a knot in my throat?

I've went to the doctor. He said it s GERD from the symptoms I'd described to help m. He check my throat by looking at the back of it with his light. He prescribed me Omeprazole 20mg. Also every once n awhile I cough up tonsils stones. Idk.....hope its not cancerous. Hope it's something that can be cured!!!

As the above poster mentioned yes GERD could be the cause of your symptoms....and you should see a Dr to make sure that is your case and the best course of action for you.

Yes. Those problems could very well be due to GERD.
