Severe Constant Pain after Fundoplication Surgery

In 2005 I had Laproscopic Fundoplication surgery for GERD. I was diagnosed with barretts esophagus prior to that. The day after surgery, I began vomiting while in the hospital, and the wrap came loose. About 1 month later, I was referred to another surgeon for a re do. A few months after that surgery, I began to have severe pain between my belly button and sternum, but the pain feels deep. I have had scar tissue removed from the wrap site 2 x, and have had multiple upper gi's, ct scans with contrast, etc. No one can determine the source of the pain. Has anyone else had these symptoms?? I am at the end of my rope. Doctors say it had nothing to do with surgery site, but I tend to disagree, seeing as how the pain began after the surgery.

I would advise you to ask your health insurance company to refer you to a teaching hospital such as Cleveland Clinic.  I had a very successful NF procedure and have no pain.  The object of the surgery is  to eliminate discomfort.  Let us know.
