Hi and welcome back!!
How is your foot doing?
I would suggest you keep a journal of what you eat and do to look back on to see if there is a pattern...some of us have more issues with reflux with changes in season due to allergies and PND.....we are all different and keeping a journal may help you narrow down your triggers.
Avoid foods that typically will trigger symptoms to flare and stress can also be a factor so try different ways to relax and wind down at the end of a day.
Seems you already know the junk food can trigger symptoms for you....and popcorn typically has butter on it which tends to be greasy....until you get this under control you need to avoid foods like that.
Keep us posted.
My foot is doing alright, the ball of the ankle is slightly larger on it than on my unhurt foot, another thing I'll have to ask the Dr. about.
Since the trapped wind attacks started I have kept track of what sets them off. Twice it was garlic bread, once popcorn, and always after a day/evening of overindulging. From now on I'll stay away from high butter high salt items.
It seems to be very specific. I find it odd I can have a slice of pizza and half a fried veal sandwich with mozzarella and marinara sauce and feel fine, but if I keep eating like this it'll go off at the trigger of something salty and buttery.
I would venture to say most likely the butter or high fat.....I know a few people that have issues with garlic as well....
Let me know what your Dr has to say about all this....and I pray you feel better soon.
Thank you Selma, your insight is always very helpful.
I'm doing all I can to avoid becoming too stressed or anxious about my condition. I have a history of medical anxiety and sometimes I wonder if many of my symptoms are being made worse by me worrying over them.
Hopefully I can hold out until October and then get some answers.
Stress is a huge factor in how we feel....so enjoy the beautiful weather...go for walks...find a new hobby anything to give you a new focus....plant a garden....big or small what ever you can handle and enjoy.
Time flies fast enuff and b4 you know it you will be at the Drs in Oct.
