scared of having an upper GI! dont know whats wrong with my body.

hey, im 16 yrs old.. however most people think im 25 :)
ive been horribly sick since April 2014. it started out with a stomach virus but since then ive had wicked stomach issues. Im nauseous 247 no matter what, i can feel everything that hits my stomach, even when i have not eaten all day my stomach is full of acid. my digestion is really slow, i have stomach pain under my ribs on both sides, and up into my esophagus. i used to weigh 125-7 pounds, i had a normal healthy life style. i have now lost down to 112 or less.. all i can do now is lay around because im so horribly sick. i know im malnurished at this point. they think i have Helicobactor Pylori...  but im going in for tests and one of those tests is an upper GI endoscopy and im really scared of having that done. any help?

Good  Luck....if you  are  having  major  issues  your  Dr  would  be  at  fault  to  not get  you  in  and  tested....if you  feel  he  is  wrong try  another  Dr.

My doctor refuses to check me further but I mamaged him to get me in for a gallbladder ultrasound. I hope I can get this knocked out and back to normal soon because it's critical at this point and my
Other organs are shutting down from malnutrition and dehydration.

Hi  and welcome to the GERD  forum,

I know  many  tests  can be scary  and what  I would do  when  I  was confronted with one that had me stressed  was to focus  on  what the outcome could be...like feeling better....that kept me from thinking about the  test even  during  the testing...

H.Pylori  can  make  you  very  sick  and it  may  take  several  rounds  on strong  antibiotics  to help  rid  you  of  this....just  talk  to  your Dr  about  after  taking  antibiotics about  taking  a probiotic  to help replace the good  bacteria lost with the antibiotics...other  wise  you  may  continue to feel poorly....

Getting  things  to  balance out  will depend  on  you  and modifying  your  diet  and lifestyle...do  exercises...move...go  for  a walk....avoid  triggers...like  greasy  and  acidic  foods....it  may  take  time....but  you  should  be  able to  get  past  this.

Good  Luck  and keep  us  posted  on  your  progress.
