upper throat wheezing

I have been to my family doctor, an allergist, a pulminologist, and a GI doctor and I am still experiencing an upper wheezing in my throat area.  I have no other symptoms, and when I am lying down, it seems to be a little better.  With all these doctors, they have me on an antibiotic, steroids (short term), prilosec twice daily, zantac once daily, omnaris nasal spray, and allegra d.  I haven't had any changes in my wheezing though.  Anybody have any ideas?  I have an appointment to go to an ENT in a couple of weeks, but the allergist says they usually can find the same problems as them. It's difficult to talk too much because of the lack of air coming in to my throat area.  Any ideas anyone?

Hello. I have EXACTLY the same issue now for 2 years. 2 chest xrays, steroid inhalers, ventolin inhalers, PPI's, allergy tablets the lot! Nothing helps! Been to ENT and nothing was found - been to respiratory clinic and they say I have pet allergies!

I have LPR. Sounds like you all have LPR. Basically reflux. Its misery. And the worst part is that theres not much you can do about it. Nexium 2x a day is about all. Ive been to about five drs so far. same thing...antibiotics...steriods. no help. look up lpr on the internet and begin the research it. youll be suprised how many have this condition.

I have constant dry cough, and wheezing upon exhaling, has been 12 days now. Dr put me on antibiotics for 5 days, now Singulair but upon reading it doesn't even address my cough. What was he thinking?  I need a 2nd opinion.  Not on any meds, good health, so must be viral, subject to bronchitis but this will not clear.  Feel pretty good other than cough/wheezing which makes you tired

I have the exact same thing! I have had 2 courses of antibiotics and one of steroids but to no avail. I experience a wheeze at my throat and a dry tickly cough that make it hard for me to have a conversation. Any help would be most appreciated!
