I was Dx in November 2011 w/Multiple Gallstones which were noticed during an ultrasound that was done regarding another issue. My Dr. said that because I was asymptomatic there was no need for any treatment. Then on January 16, 2012 I was the driver of a truck that was involved in a serious accident in which the airbags deployed. In the accident I sustained serious whiplash, a severe concussion & a Large Hematoma on my right hip. But since the accident I've also been experiencing severe right sided chest pain that goes through to my back right shoulder blade. It actually feels like there is a knife being pushed through my right breast & out my shoulder blade. I am also having a lot of pain down my right arm, especially in the shoulder area. To add to that, I have been extremely nauseas & unable to eat w/a sharp/burning pain just below my right breast. Could the trauma of the accident possibly have aggravated the gallstones or are these symptoms related to something else & if it is most likely my gallbladder, will I need it removed?
I am very scared, so I Thank You, in advance, for your time regarding this matter.
