Try Senna S tablets (2) and a stool softener (2) and drink plenty of liquids.
Worked for me.

Sometimes water can get through when you have a blockage, this is natures way to try and rid what ever is in the way, also that could lead to dehydration which could make your pains worse, so I suggest drink plenty, take the lactulose, and also if you can tolerate it I would suggest you try a high fibre diet, or get some fibrogel from your chemist, but really I think if you are noticing no change and still suffering or different symptoms I would go straight back to your doctor and ask if you can be referred to the hospital for more tests, you shouldn't have to suffer in this way, the not knowing sometimes can be the worst, or as close to it.
