6 year old boy with uncontrollable liquidy stools

We have had difficulty with our 6 yr. and his bathroom use.  At first we thought he was just a difficult case to "potty train" because he would have accidents in his pants several times a week. We went trough several different ways to help him not have the accidents but now I think it may be a physical not psychological issue. Lately he has had them a few times a day.  His accidents are liquidy and seems almost as if he has no control over them.  I am not sure if I should begin with removing dairy from his diet or other food sources.  Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you

Sweets, fizzy drinks and tomato sauce won't cause this in a normal 6 yr old..
But you are right. Lactose can.
So can a long lasting virus. And so can parasites.
Take him to the doc. He is too young to be getting opinions on the net.
God bless.

hi, lactose and gluten intolerance is a possibilty, but first i suggest you remove sweets, fizzy drinks and tomato sauce from his diet, keep his liquid intake to water, do this for a few days and monitor his stools closely. if his symptoms remain, then ask your gp to conduct a couple of tests concerning the intolerances above, keep me posted.
