Acid Reflux Question

I think my esophagitis is inflamed and causing me to have a constant feeling of shortness of breath, every-time i go to the doctors they say my breathing is fine. Is this possible or could there be something else wrong. I have had this for a few month. i am currently awaiting a h pylori breath test and had to stop taking ppi's.
