Stools that Float and then Sink

A09
I wrote a few months ago about floating stools.  Since then, my stools have gone from floating a slight majority of the time to mostly floating for a minute or three before sinking.

I otherwise have no other symptoms. In fact, I feel great.  The only differences since I have noticed these stool changes:
1. I am having bowel movements more frequently.  I go 1-2 times a day on average.  Prior to the last six months, I would go about 4-5 times per week.  One of the reasons I think that the frequency has increased is because I constantly think, worry, and obsess about bowel movements.  I have written a log of every bowel movement I have taken, for example, since the beginning of March.
2. My stools are slightly more watery than they have historically been.  I don't have diarrhea any more often than usual.  I have no abdominal pain.  There is no mucus or blood in my stool.

Should I be worried?  Will my stool eventually transition to not floating at all before sinking?  I have been eating more fiber-rich foods, and I drink V8 juice a lot. I just want to stop worrying,

It is most likely related to your fat intake. reduce fat increase fiber and see if this will resolve the problem. Did you notice change in your diet (more fat). My partner have similar issues, and have to take digestive enzymes as they found that his pancreas doesn't release/make enough to resolve the problem.

No, I didn’t change my diet.  But I noticed the change after a case of gastroenteritis.  I think it might be related to Post-Infectious IBS, and my digestive system being too fast.
If your digesting time decreased, you might have not enough time to absorb/digest your fats.

Hi, as long as your appetite is good, you are eating well and do not have loss of weight, you don't need to worry. Stool consistency can vary depending on the food you eat. Sometimes premenstrual changes can cause alterations in stool consistency. So, dont worry. Regards.
