Bowel movement issue

Hello, i hope someone can give me some insite and anything would be appreciated so thanks in advance. Ive been having trouble with my bowel movements lately. Im a 21 y.o female with a history of bowel problems although i was never diagnosed with anything. I constantly for the past several years have had diarrhea everyday. The past couple months i have no longer had diarrhea but i now have very very soft feces. The problem right now is that when i go to the bathroom i cant competelt clean myself out because barely anything comes out because everything gets stuck due to how soft it is. I strain and wind up bleeding and having stomach pains so my only option (sorry for the grossness), but the only thing i can do is use my finger to get it out. If i dont i walk around very uncomfortable feeling like im about to crap myself, literally. Is there anything i can due to make my feces harder so they will all just come out at once when i have the urge to go and it wont all just smush and get stuck coming out? Ive heard fiber but ive also heard fiber just makes it softer so you can go but thats the complete opposite dorection i want to go at this point. I need to find out if theres certains foods or supplements i cant take to bulk up or make it harder. Can anyone help me out? Thanks again in advance.

Thanks so much for your help! I truly do appreciate it! I dont drink a ton of water but i do drink a lot of it. And i dont take anything for constipation, only think ive taken in the past was for diarrhea when i had it, other then that nothing. I will definitely try the benefiber and get some fiber bars and hope that will make me a little more "regular". Thanks again ( :

Fiber will help. You can get fiber gummies or a powder (benefiber) that can be added to anything because it has no taste and does NOT thicken. Also do you drink much water or any other water based fluid? You may not have enough water in your system.  Do not take anything for constipation because it will over stimulate your bowels and make you feel as if you need to go, but actually don't have anything to expel. Acidophilus could be a great help to you also, it is "healthy" bacteria are body's need. Ask your pharmacist to help you chose one to start with.  I am not a doctor, just someone who has had problems themselves and takes care of their Dad who also has bowel problems. If you are not a very active person a walk everyday will also help!  Do not become preoccupied with the problem as it will make it worse (nerves). Best of luck to you!
