Colonoscopy prep literally cured my inflammation until I ate food again??

I had a colonoscopy recently and through drinking the prep for my procedure I somehow temporarily cured my chronic inflammation, brain fog and urinary discomfort. I don't know how to explain it. Neither did my Gastroenterologist. He shrugged off what I said and told me there was nothing about the prep that would have caused my body to become relieved. He said he did not believe this had anything to do with diet or an intolerance to a food or anything. My colonoscopy was clean, nothing wrong at all. All tests I've taken have come back completely fine. N arthritis, no celiac disease, nothing wrong with my intestines or esophagus at all. We did not get a stool test though so idk if that is important or not. I just find his answer hard to believe. The only other time I am able to find such comfort from my chronic inflammation is when I take ibuprofen (for inflammation). I want to cure my body from this illness and not take the fiber supplement and whatever else cover up type of drugs my doctor wanted to give me. Can someone here please point me in the direction of actually getting to the bottom of what may be happening here? Thank you.
