Colonoscopy

I recently had a colonoscopy and everything was fine except for hemorrhoid or 2.  Ever since then there have been times when I've noticed blood after having a bowel movement. Could the colonoscopy have irritated the hemorrhoid?

I have had the same thing happen to me.  It should quit after a while as the lining if the colon was irritated during the procedure.  If it does not quit in a couple of weeks you might want to get it checked out.  A lot also has to do with your bowel movement & and strain that is put on that area during the bowel movement.  The hemorrhoid is easily torn.
