If anyone is going through this please let me know. I have this problem where I feel like I'm gonna gag 24/7. The only thing that helps is a hard candy. I've been to the doctor they say it's allergies but I know Its not. Any other doctor looks at me crazy. I can't go to job interviews. I can barely go in public without having to fight with everything I have not to gag. Please help

I once had that feeling, like I'd vomit. My ENT said he saw irritation on my vocal chords and thus, thought it was acid reflux. I took Prevacid and it went away.
Now I'm weaning off of it however. Hopefully it won't return.

You need to go to a swallow specialist. The problem is related to dysphagia. There are many possible reasons for this.

It isn't allergies.
