Does any one else feel sick ALL the time?

For about a month now I've had sort of a over all sick to my stomach feeling sometimes with diarrhea.  When it started it was much worse, more naushas with diarrhea.  But now its just hanging around and it's bad enough that I don't want to really eat, go to work, or do anything.  I've tryed things like pepto bismaul and an anti nausea med that the GI gave me, neither seem to help. The only time I'm not overly botherd by it is when i finally fall asleep.
I have been to a GI but he doesn't want to start doing anything too invasive yet...

But I was wondering if anyone else just feels sick all of the time??? And how long has it been going on? And do you know why???  Have you found anything that helps?

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter.  I am 32 and I am sick everyday.  It is going on 5 yrs.  I have done 4 colonoscopies and 2 endoscopies, many of MRI's, x-rays, blood work, and many ER visits. I am currently having a gastro empting done next week.  In the beginning I noticed i could arrange my life ( like being late in morning) but after so long and with my GI Doctor having a hard time. It has started to take a toll on my happiness and Quality of Life as my husband says. I started not doing anything with friends then after long they forget about you.  The only opionion I have is to make sure she doesn't feel alone or a burden.  When no one can find anything it make you feel crazy.  Well best of luck.  I hope things get figured out for you soon.

MY GI doctor just rolled his eyes when I went to him and told him that my allergy to eggs had been the cause of the distress. The allergist told me years ago when people got an ulcer they would put them on milk diets. They wouldn't realize that the patients allergy to milk had caused the ulcer. One of the hardest to avoid is corn. Corn or corn syrup is in almost everything. I do ocasionally eat an omelette. It's OK but not every day. The wheat allergy is tough because it's in everything. I spent a fortune in tests and was in the hospital days and came out just as sick. A younger doctor might be better today. It could have been 25 years since I found out about my egg allergy. I know they were giving me eggs for breakfast in the hospital. Then my father told me he was sensitive to eggs as well. Don't rule this out.

Maybe, but for the past month I pretty much haven't really eaten anything.  Sticking mostly to bread/crackers, apple sauce, just started ensure drinks, white rice, and pedialight pops.  I was also ok on spaghetti-o's but my GI said they weren't the best thing to eat LOL.  But maybe I'll bring food allergies up with him when i go back next.

Many years ago I had chronic nausea. I went through all the usual tests and was put on medication to settle my stomach. By chance at the same time I was being treated for allergies. I mentioned to the lady who gave me my shots that I had every test and the doctors were basically treating it with prescriptions that made me feel drugged and only partially relieved the symptoms. I had been eating an egg salad sandwhich every day for a while. It did turn out when I removed eggs from my diet the nausea stopped. It 's usually a common food like milk, wheat or corn. Corn is in everything and wheat is very hard to avoid. Manypeople at that time have almost been insulted by GI doctors when they could not see the problem.
