EXCESSIVE PAINFUL WIND AND RETCHING

I am 34 years old and have now lost over 21 pounds in weight, I have been experiencing painfull wind from both ends, violent belching and excessive flactulance,  the belching sometimes feels restricted, like something is blocking it from coming out which causes retching, going through the retching motions and finishing with a very violent and loud burp. I have to sometimes lay down as this is the only things that helps.

It might be something like acid reflux or lactose intolerance, however these wouldn't cause the weight loss you describe.  I would recommend that you have blood tests done before your ultrasound.  I doubt an ultrasound will show anything (the only thing untrasounds will sometimes show is gallstones, which doesn't match up with your symptoms).  Something like an endoscopy or swallow study is much more likely to show something.

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  I would recommend that you see your doctor about this, expecially because of the weight loss.
