I'm a generally healthy 40 yr old female. I noticed a few years ago that my stomach would hurt after eating raw almonds, but no other nut (raw or roasted) hurt me, just raw almonds. Up until a month ago that was the case, however now peanuts, walnuts & almonds of any variety cause stomach aching.
I am a big seafood, salad, whole grain, and nut NUT! Last night we went to Fuddrucker's and I had a romaine lettuce salad with grilled chicken and very few sliced almonds...today I can hardly move from the severe cramping and pain in my stomach.
Everything I'm reading is leading me to gall bladder issues. Problem with that theory is that greasy foods (although I hardly eat them anymore) never have seemed to bother me. So what's wrong with me???
Any suggestions would be more than welcome!
