Gallstone ESWL? Save my gallbladder?

I have one sole gallstone which measures 2.5 cm. I was wondering whether there is any way of using extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) like with kidney stones, but on my gallstone. I really do not want to undergo a cholecystectomy because I would really like to keep my gallbladder very much. I was also wondering what is your professional advice on the regimen called a "gallbladder flush" which involve drinking pure apple juice and eating apple sauce for five days, then fasting briefly, taking magnesium, and then drinking large quantities of lemon juice mixed with olive oil before bed which and then one is supposed to be able to pass stones painlessly in the morning. Thanks!

Same problem with me, my stone size is 1.53 cm. I don't think such a size could pass through the bile duct.

I am wondering the same. I would like to hear what you find out. The doctors are way to surgery happy, but I understand the risks also.
