I have full-body shakes after many weeks of Gastritis - is it the meds or stomach?

I'm on Pantoprazole 40mg twice a day. It just started about 5 days ago with the shaking all over, dizzy feeling in my head and also having "shakes" in my abdomen area. My GI doc said the stomach shakes....his patients have told him about them, but he didn't give a reasoning really as to why.

Scroll down to the "side effects" section.  The symptoms you are experiencing are documented side effects of the medication you are taking, which can lead to low magnesium, causing these symptoms.  You should print these out and discuss with your doc.  You may need a magnesium supplement.
