Itching and Hardening on the anus

Hi.

I am a 23 year old male. Have had a problem of constipation for all of my life (that I remember of) and had to deal with it. Also, last year I was diagnosed with Duodenal ulcers and minor Diaphragmatic Hernia (organs are where they belong) and took medications.

Recently, as a constipation remedy, I tried an anal candle (a laxative to be used through the anus) and, probably, used 3 of them (as 1 didn't help) at once.

Starting from here I have had anal itching (not sure it is related); I observed that only one part of the anus has hardened considerably and is itchy; the rest of it is fine. It stays hardened even when the itchiness is not present.

I have had this condition for the last two weeks now.
What could be the reason?

In addition to fiber and fluid, for relief of constipation you might also try jostling one buttock while defecating. The vibrations transmitted to the rectum reduce friction with dry stool and stimulate expulsion. Once you fix your constipation I think your anus will heal itself.

any mom who had read this would have said that from the preassure 3 lax would have given you and constipation pushing would give you would give you hemmoids from the pushing presure

So my doctor suggested it is Hemorrhoids and prescribed some medications. Should agree probably.
