Left lower quadrant abdominal pain

My husband has intermittent pain in the left lower quadrant of his abdomen. He’s also experiencing increased bowel movements and urination. There is no pain associated with either function. He’s also feeling constipated and sometimes feels that there is more urine in his bladder. He notices it a little more when he eats. Any thoughts?
