Lots of gas

In the last couple of months, my gas has become really bad. I just would like some advice on how to control it or slow it down.  I have been losing weight and have been eating better. I had my gallbladder removed about 3 years ago. I take vitamins and supplements.  Everything I've mentioned are not recent changes, but my gas has started to act up in ways that I can't control it.  I'm in my mid 40s and was looking for help in trying to control it.  I've always have had gas issues, but this is different, or it feels different.

You can get Ovol or GasX tablets or chewables at the pharmacy that will help with the gas.  Drinking peppermint tea can help as well.

Thank You Sassy,

I've tried Beano, don't care for it.  Would you or anyone else know what foods are gassy foods?  Or anything else that would help with extra gas?

Maybe you are digesting better, some folks, that do not digest their food will bloat badly because of gas and they cannot get rid of it, I, unfortunately, tend to be one of them. If it is really bothering you, you might want to try a product called "Beano" It is supposed to help curb gas, but, if have allergies to penicillin, I would not take it, I hear it can give you a reaction just like Penicillin does.

Other than that, even though it is embarrassing, I would not worry, just cut back some on gassy foods and eat slower if you are a fast eater.
