New diagnosis of GERD

I have had pressure that goes through my upper back and into my chest. Mouth constantly watering and flows down my throat effortlessly. Bubbling in my chest. Pressure on my right side. The feeling that I am a balloon that is full of pressure and if you stick a pin in me to deflate I will feel so much better. In the morning there is a glob of mucous sitting at the top of my throat and it burns. I constantly feel unwell and it has become life changing.

Are these symptoms of GERD/acid reflux? Any advise will help. Thanks

Hi, I am a 62 year old woman would has been treated for H-Pylori twice.  The doctor I had at the time treated me when the bacteria was already dead.  I have been dealing with GERD for over 20 years.  I have finally come to the fact that my Anxiety Disorder is the evil of all this.  My disorder can bring on a seizer.  I take Lorazapem for the anxiety.
I do not take seizer medications because it cause even more stomach issues.
When trying to cut down on my Lorazapem I found out the hard way that it was keeping me alot calmer than I had given it credit for.  I have had the chest pain, burning acid, feeling sick to my stomach, mucus overy my teeth and hanging down my throat, choking at times.  I finally knew that if I take my mediation as directed, eat small healthy meals, walk during the day, avoid all acid producing foods, take time to really rest, try to avoid as much stress as possible.  Stress my main trigger.  I thought I had always been a strong person.  Now I see that life's many stresses can beat me down.
I have always be agains medication.  I believe in natural ways.  Today I take my medication as given and if I want any quaility of life I had to change a lot in my life. I now accept that I need my medication and that I must follow this guideline of living that will give me a better quality of life.     Zeriph
