Not sure what to do..

I am constipated. Whenever I try to make a bowel movement I can feel the stool in my rectum, but it feels too big and hard to get out. I took 3 Goldline Senna-S laxative/stool softeners at about 10:55 - 11:00am. It says for 12 and older take 2-4 pills and I should have a bowel movement in 6-12 hours.. I'm 16 and it's now 4:47pm.
I took 2 yesterday at about 5:00 but nothing happened, so I upped the dosage today. Max dosage for 12 and older is 4.
Should I try to manually exract it?
Or just wait a little longer for the laxative/stool softener to kick in?

If this is not something that normally happens, then the next time this happens I would recommend you take the products (stool softeners, laxatives) and then WAIT.  You can take the maximum amount of laxatives on the package, you can even take more than what they recommend if your really suffering.  But just don't do it every day.  The guy above me said to take a fiber product.  He's right.  Get on this right away and take it every night before bed to prevent this from happening.  You were just severely constipated that day.  It happens to all of us.  Just try to take care of yourself so it doesn't become a habit.  And if your in this situation on a regular basis, go see a Gastroenteroligist.  Good Luck!

I don't usually have this problem.. Only since yesterday.
I'm pretty sure it's because I haven't gotten like any exercise in a week.
I don't think an enema is an option. I just pushed as far as would go then tried to get it out with a small stick object. I got a little off the let it go back in.. I'm gonna try it again in a minute.

Boy, I am SO sorry you are suffering.  I'm not a doctor and don't know much about this stuff but I've had the same problem for years.  Isn't it almost enema time or time to see a Dr.?  I know it's an embarrasing situation.  You could try to put some pressure on either side of your rectum to kind of force it out.  You will probably bleed if it's that hard and really big and you don't want to tear your colon.

The first thing I would do after this is over is get on a daily fibre product like Metamucil or Miralax.  Bowel health is really important.  Daily fibre products don't make you go, they make you regular.  A daily stool softener might be a really good idea for you, too.

All the best,

Sam
