I forgot to add that Canada Dry ginger ale helps get gas out of the tummy, a few sips is all.
It's also possible you are having gas pains, which alka seltzer might help relieve that, but ask your obstetrician if it's safe for you to still take that right now. When I was a girl, and we'd eat a big dinner after church with the family, I'd gas up big-time and it hurt real bad, because my stomach wasn't used to having so much food that early in the day. My grandmother said she had the same thing when she was young and told me about the alka seltzer. I'm thinking what I had is like you eating a good-sized dinner with a baby on board, and then just a few hours later you lay down, so there's less room in your tummy for the food to finish digesting, and you gas up. If alka seltzer is not an option, it might also help to not eat as much for your evening meal, and instead eat more often during the day, or add more food at breakfast and lunch.
hi, i think you might have a diaphram rubbing disorder (inflammad diaphram) the sharp stabbing pains come on suddenly when you sit or lay down in a particular position, the pain mimics gall bladder attacks, its easily remedied by standing up and walking for a couple of seconds, its very similar to our earths plates, when they rubb against eachother, the end result is a earth quake, excercising regularly and being not overweight do help the situation to rectify itself, cheers.
