blood and bloody mucus in stool and gas pains....

Hey everyone.  Almost for two years now, I've been having bloody stools (not always) and painful bowl movements and painful gas.  The blood is in my stools and in the toilet/on the paper.  At first my family doctor said it was nothing and it would go away.  Then she thought it was a fissure.  She perscribed me several medications and ointments to help it go away.  Which it didn't.  My doctor doesn't exactly listen to her patients very well.. Thats besides my point.  A few months ago I had a colonoscopy done, in which a polyp was removed.  I haven't heard anything back yet (probably because my doctorss office ***** at calling people..)  Anyways, my symptoms are still occurring.  So now I'm trying to do some of my own research to find out what is going on.  Any help?

I don't have an answer but same happened to me. I was loosing blood in my stools for months. during this time I had bad gas and abdominal pain. One day I ended up in hospital because I couldn't walk and I was shaking really bad. They did a transfusion because I lost way to much blood during this time table. I thought it was my hemmoroid. They went down my mouth to my stomach and found a bleeding ulcer. They said that was the cause and they fixed it. Later I started bleeding all over again. Same MO. This time after arguing with doctor they did a colonoctamy. Cut out 5 polyps and he said that I was right. It wasn't the colon. He laughed and left. It has started up again for 4 months now and I don't know who to ask anymore. It's bad enough I am in my END STAGE of my lung disease. Toilet paper is some times saturated with bright red blood. Anyone help.
