Pancreatic Trauma Mass

My 75 year old Mother fell onto her abdomen/ face about 2 months ago.   Shortly thereafter, she experienced a dull pain in her upper left abdomen which occasionally moved to her shoulder blades.  Her family physician recommended physiotherapy for muscle pain.   About 1 month ago, she was to have a routine colonoscopy.  The gastroenterologist was unable to complete the test since there were several 'tunnels' and he did not want to perforate the intestine.   She obtained a CT Scan which revealed a large mass in the  pancreatic tail.  No further treatment was recommended.   Could the accidental fall have caused this pancreatic mass imaging?   At this time, she has no real discomfort.  She is taking Tylenol 4 times a day as a preventative for pain.  There has been some weight loss.  She is very anxious and stressful about this condition.  Thank you for your advice

Thanks for your message.  Believe it or not...we have asked.  The answers are vague and dismissive.   It is frustrating and painful for my Mom and the entire family.

I am sorry your Mom had to go through this, perhaps you should go back and ask the Physician what you are asking here and exactly what it means, they should give you more answers, of course she is stressed out she needs more answers from them,.
