Radionuclide scan side effects?

I recently went for a radionuclide scan in which I had to ingest eggs with a radioactive tracer. Ever since I haven't been able to eat and have been vomiting. I have also been having very painful cramps in my stomach. I'm constipated and have tried taking laxatives but I just vomit them back up. Had a horrible fever and my whole body aches and is very sensitive. I have probably had only a couple hours sleep since it due to the pain and discomfort. Is the scan the reason for this as I can't find much information on it?
