Severe pain - 2 years post gastric bypass

I am over 2 years post op gastric bypass and suffering. I have been going back and forth to many different doctors but so far we haven't been able to figure things out. I suffer in terrible pain and the pain pills aren't working anymore. I have constant vomiting, diarhhea and pain. This isn't living. I have had CT, x ray, small bowel study, MRI, exploratory surgery, gall bladder removed, hernia repair, stricture repair and mutliple scopes - still in pain though! Has anyone else who has had this happened to them gotten any answers? I have just gone to a new dr who specializes in the intestine and I pray she can help - I am so frustrated and depressed - I just can't stand it.

I am having the same issues with my abdomin ... All test are normal I cant eat pain is intense .... My gastric bypass Doctor keeps telling me its not realated to my bypass and I need to see gasteroligist .... I too wish someone could give me answers .... Im on no pain meds

I had Gastric Bypass in November 2007. I had a hernia repair in November 2008 and 2009. I too have severe abdominal pain and nausea. Phengren is my best friend. Pain medicine helps but doesn't last long due to our absorption. I've had severe pain and nausea come back recently full force. Its on my right then left side. Feels like a knife stabbing in my side. When I have a bowel movement I get horrible charlie horse type cramps and you can actually feel the tension of the muscles. It puts me in tears. I have an appointment with my Bypass doctor on Monday. I don't know if its another hernia or what. Its very frustrating. Im just 27 years old and this pain does cause me to be depressed and anxious. I have to work and I have a fiance and a 21 month old daughter to keep up with. Its hard. Send me a private message and we should keep in touch and try and help each other. Good luck.
