Severe GI Tract Problems

I decided to ask a question here since I can never get a doctor to take me seriously in this topic and I just checked my pants due to an unexplained smell and to my surprise I had apparently crapped in them a small amount without my knowledge and I'm only 26.  I tend to have problems with being very gassy when I eat practically anything and a lot of times when I need to defecate it's almost like I have constipation and explosive diarrhea at the same time.  I've had cramps from this before that nearly caused me to pass out from the pain, no exaggeration, but I've since gotten used to that pain.  I remember very clearly that this suddenly started happening one day when I was 15 without warning and since I've had these problems, but it seems to be escalating.  Also every so often I have extremely sharp waves of pain happen for a moment in a rhythm on my left side, just above the pelvic bone.  They are enough to make me double over in pain.  Then there's the intense burning pain in my anus that occurs when I defecate and wiping is the only thing that helps alleviate it.  Often times my feces is yellow in color but one time it was extremely green and caused the toilet water to turn green.  I also sometimes find blood when I wipe.  That's about all I can think of right now.

Thanks for the reply.  Yeah I finally got a doctor to take it seriously and do a full battery of tests so we will see.

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include motility issues, neuro-muscular causes, infections, inflammations, psychological causes, medication/ drug side effect, hormonal/ endocrine issues, growths/ masses, irritable bowel etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
