I am 41 years old and was in great health up until 8 months ago. Was having some mild pain in the gallbladder area. Ultra sound came out normal but HIDA scan showed gallbladder was not functioning resulting in surgery. Since that time, I have been dealing with abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite (I get hungry but nothing sounds good and food doesnt go down well) have also experienced weight loss (14-15 pounds). I have been to the gastro doctors and have had two colonoscopies and two endoscopies taken...only thing was a mild case of gastritis. My neutrophils have been a bit elevated...therefore, saw an oncologist. He ruled out any type of cancer or blood disorder. Recently, I have developed anxiety and depression. Also found out I am in menopause. (had a hysterectomy five years ago). I just started an estrogen patch a couple weeks ago. Also, started on an anti-depressant...not happy about that at all. The depression is due to the fact that no one can seem to find out what is going on with my stomach? If that would get resolved, I wouldn't be depressed or anxious. Please help!
