Stomach ? Problems

I am a 37 year old healthy female.  For the past few weeks I have felt a fullness in my upper abdomen...at night it turns into chest discomfort - sort of a pressure pushing outward on my rib cage.  My upper back also hurts all the time between my shoulder blades.  I have slight scoliosis so I don't know if the back pain is related to that.  I often feel like my heart is beating very hard and at night it feels like it is beating irregularly.  I also have tenderness in my upper abdomen just below my ribcage.  For the past few days I have had no appetite.  When I eat, my stomach immediately starts to gurgle loudly.  I have an excessive amount of air - constantly belching and passing gas.  It doesn't have a foul odor, though.  I don't have heartburn.  Also, my stools float.  I've been trying to eat a fairly balanced diet.  Can you tell me what this might be?  I don't know whether it's cardiac or GI or both....or just in my head....I also worry about EBV flare up since I had a bad bout of mono four years ago with liver and spleen inflammation that I had to take prednisone for.  Is that possible?

I'd see a doctor if I were you that seems like alot of symptoms.   The back pain is no concern, but the chest pain is so make an appointment and get a physical and talk/talk to doctor even when he or she is writing.    The more symptoms you speak the better!

Floating stools is usually caused by your body not properly breaking down fats. There is a range of things that can cause this like being lactose intolerant and celiac disease just to name two. Some of which can cause those symptoms you should really consult your physician.
