Stomach pain

Could I have an ulcer? I have stomach pain around my belly button and above - pain goes through to my back. Pain severe when I waken in the morning until I get up (strange) Pain is worse when I am lying down. When I eat, the pain goes away for a couple of hours, then comes back.

Sounds like it to me. As caryopteris said "ulcers can be very dangerous" let unchecked it can continue to damage the wall of your stomach and even cause bleeding. Be sure that you are eating more than once a day. Several small meals a day would be good.

I think it might be an ulcer.  It does not sound much like a gallbladder problem.  You should see a doctor since ulcers can be serious.
