Throwing up in the morning but NOT pregnant

I've taken countless tests just to make sure I'm not pregnant, all were negative. I've been waking up around 5am with a nauseous feeling in my stomach. Usually I just induce vomiting to get it over with quicker, otherwise I'd just stay nauseous for hours. I just throw up bile. I've always had issues with my stomach and I was diagnosed with gastritis a few years ago but my doctor never really told me to do anything about it. I have NO appetite for the entire day until around like 4:30 PM...I drink coffee and skip breakfast every day because I'm just not hungry at all. Not smart, I know. My nausea is often accompanied by a moderate to severe pain in my general stomach area. Sometimes I wonder if I might have cancer or something but every time I'm at the doctors they tell me I'm fine. Any ideas? What medications should I be taking for the pain?

Good catch, that must be it...I'll cut down on the coffee definitely. If my stomach already has acid from gastritis, pouring coffee on it is like adding fuel to the fire. Thanks for your advice! :)

I should add that when I developed gallstones, I vomitied every morning while I was trying to brush my teeth.

My boyfriend discovered coffee was the main culprit for him.  Then when I got him to start taking Metamucil (capsule form) every day, it made him feel great.  Now he only has trouble if he drinks real coffee, dairy, or skips his Metamucil.

He tolerates Foldgers Simply Smooth coffee much better.  It is low acid.
