Ultrasound of abdomen

Had a ultrasound this is what I got back need help understanding

Findings:
Gallbladder: Contracted Layering, shadowing stones noted. Wall thickness within normal limtis.
Common Bile duct Measures 3mm in diameter Normal
Impression: Cholelithiasis
Everything else is normal

I have had severe stomach pain and cramping on the right side with lower back pain and chest pain for 3 months finally doctor  sent for a ultrasound I got a call today and am being sent to a sugeron but would like to know what Im up againist??? Thanks

Well it sounds like you have gallstones that won't break up...sounds like they're going to possibly remove your gallbladder, or just open you up to remove the stones.

My mom had her's out many years ago...she can't eat fatty foods anymore, but that's about it.
