Weakness after meals

I (72 M) suffer from strange problem for some months. 30 minutes to 1 hour after a meal, I start feeling weakness, tiredness, dizziness and (sometimes only) my Blood Suger falls down drastically. I feel weaknewss after little movement from here to there, short breathing after  limbing one storey of staircase, fainting-like feelings, including palpitation. Shoft breath, palpitation, fainting like feelings go away within  a minutge or so after sitting/rersting but weakness continues the whole. Weakness is in general  but particularly in leges. I am Diabetic and Hypertensive  since 15 years but both are almost in coontrol with medicines althoguh Blood Sugar PP goes out of range (beyond 200 to 220 only) sometimes. Recently I have got got my heart tested with 24 hr ECG Study with Holter, Echography, ECG etc. but all o.k. I have active working life (own office working). What are the causes of these problems and remedicines/medicines all these. Please advise in details. I have also acute drousiness after meal.

I have been getting weak in my legs  and arms both before and after meals.  I  recently had a cervical biopsy which came out negative. I had pain in my hip after the biopsy but when I saw a doctor he prescribed Ibuprofen and Neurobion tablets, could this be side effects?

It sounds like your blood sugar levels are dropping too low after a meal.  Since you know that a meal usually raises the level, this isn't normal.  Even though your blood sugars aren't completely in control, I would address this with your doctor because it sounds like your medication is being too effective after eating.  If it wasn't related to eating, I would think your BP meds need to be lowered, as low BP can have this effect also.  I would see your doctor as you don't want to risk passing out of falling down.  My husband also has the same issues as you, and they have not been able to get either his BP or sugar completely under control.  But after every meal he is very tired.  Get it checked out to be on the safe side.  Take care......
