What causes loud bowel sounds?!!! Hyperactive bowel sounds?!!

Okay so for about 3 days now I have had really loud intestinal bowel noises that can be heard. It began after I had diarrhea, I had diarrhea for about a day and half and then it stopped. I had no fever, no stomach pain, nothing else. Today I feel fine however I continue having really loud intestinal sounds. I do not know how to make them stop. What could be causing this?!! If I eat, A while after it starts back again even louder. I am not sure what is causing it. I work in a professional setting and when I have clients in my office and they hear the sounds it’s embarrassing. How do I make it stop? What can I do to fix it?
