Why am i having these horrible rectal spasms

Two months ago I woke up and had my normal BM.  Afterwards it felt like someone was beating my in my anus with a sledge hammer about a hundred times a minute.  I went to my doctor and they did an exploratory surgery under anesthesia.  Everything came back normal but the spasms were even worse.  About a week after the surgery I developed a fissure due to the spasms.  I had surgery again five days ago.  They cauterized the fissure and injected my sphincter with botox?  They said the botox could take up to two weeks to kick in but it is supposed to paralyze my sphincter so the fissure can heal.  I have been taking hydrocodone, Toradol, and gabapentin to try and control the pain.  My quality of life for the past two months has been pain medicine and taking a sitz bath with me everywhere I go.  The spasms don't only hurt just at my anus it sends sharp pains to my penile region as well.  I cant seem to find answers anywhere but I would just about do anything in the world to get my health back.  Anyone else experience anything like this?

Hi. I am a female so symptoms are obviously different, but I healed the tear in my anal wall with prescription Anusol with hydrocortisone. Ask your Doc for a script. Also, get rid of the Neurontin, it's a seizure med that Drs prescribe for pain because they claim it helped people with seizures by lessening pain as well but Duh. You don't need it if you don't have seizures, ask for a muscle relaxer. Take a stool softener with Vicodin. Give it 5 days with these meds and always go poo when your body wants. Don't hold off and don't strain. Try to relax because you are probably not fully relaxed to poo if your dreading the pain. Good luck!
